Do you want to practise speaking English with native and fluent speakers in Auckland? Then KiwiTalk is for you!
KiwiTalk is an English conversation class, focused on building listening and speaking skills. Each week we talk about a practical topic or current story of interest in table groups of 6-8. Recent topics have included job search & job interviews, renting a house or apartment, visiting the doctor, places to visit in New Zealand, Kiwi idioms (sayings), New Zealand public holidays such as Matariki & Anzac Day and the Olympics. You can suggest some topics that interest you!
Sometimes we take our learning outside and explore interesting places around Auckland. Or we have a quiz to review the topic’s we’ve discussed over the term.
We hope KiwiTalk is a safe space for you to practice your English conversation skills – and make friends in the process!
KiwiTalk is on Saturday mornings, 10am to 12 noon (during school term times).
